More About Me
I've spent years learning all there is to know about the
Andalusian horse breed.
It hasn't been easy but I've worked my way through the ranks and I'm now
selling my Andalusian foals for $12,000 to $15,000 each before they are even
born.
My videos on how to trick train Andalusians have been sold
worldwide. What more
could you want?

Then it occurred to me, why not organize the valuable information I've gathered
through my experiences with horses, especially Andalusians, so that others can
benefit from it?
That's how the first website,
Skyhorse Kingdom (visit the new version of Skyhorse
Kingdom, breaking news, your Source for the Spanish Horse), came about. Skyhorse Kingdom
included photos and pedigrees for various Andalusian mares, foals, and stallions
and a nice introduction to the Andalusian horse.
Then, in order to publish the 100's of articles and advice columns I've composed
about Andalusian horses, I moved my most precious information to a
membership-based web server.
Thus, the creation of The Andalusian Horse Club - The Insider. In late 2005, I
decided to re-design Skyhorse Kingdom and combine it with the Andalusian Horse
Club. Thus, the creation of
Spanish Vision
Farm and the Andalusian Horse Club
came about. Eventually, we moved to a REAL ranch and the name became, once again
Skyhorse Ranch. Although, we've kept the name "Spanish Vision" as well, since
that is our vision, to produced Spanish horses.

In the fall of 2006, however, the Andalusian Horse Club came to a tragic end.
The host servers maintaining the website experienced a major raid failure and all
the data, articles, and membership information was lost.
Discouraged but not without hope, I set about to re-design the website using the
latest Microsoft web editing software called "Expression Web". Hence the new
look of the Spanish Vision
Farm website.
As an animal breeder, owner, and writer. I have 30 years of equine experience
and holds a Masters Degree in Zoology and a Bachelor Degree in Education. While
in college, I was an honor student and completed coursework in biology,
microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, animal genetics, feeds and
rations, large animal management, pharmacology, physiology, cellular physiology,
statistics, and anatomy.

Horseback Riding Education -
In regards to horses, I'm well-rounded in the equestrian disciplines of the
followiong:

Professional Experience -
At one time I was even a full time mounted patrol officer and have also worked
full time as a carriage driver. I trained my first horse (a wild mustang) when I
was only 16 years old.

Dressage Riding -
As a dressage rider, I've has studied
dressage with Kass Lockhart (L judge and
USDF silver medalist), Verena Diaz (North Texas Equestrian Center), Brad
Cutshall (USDF Gold Medalist and Olympic hopeful), and Clare Morrow (L Judge).
Horse Show Experience - I have competed in Saddlebred
shows, competitive trail rides with Arabians, National Championship and Regional
Andalusian horse shows, open shows with Peruvian Pasos and Andalusians (hunter
jumper, English and western pleasure, trail, and halter), and team penning with
quarter horses. My American Warmblood has been shown in open USDF competitions.
Professional Horse Breed Experience - I have a
life-time experience with horses including apprenticeships and working
situations with American Saddlebred, hunter-jumper, Andalusian, Cutting Horse,
Paint Horses, and Quarter Horse trainers and instructors.

Horse Training Experience - I began my professional
career with horses as an assistant riding lesson instructor at age 14. When I
was 16 years old, I was a weekend horse farm manager and trained my first horse
(a wild mustang). Later, in grad school, I acquired a palomino Quarter Horse and
trained her for mounted patrol. I worked for several trainers in Tennessee,
Oklahoma, and Texas. I trained horses for Denham Ranch for several years and
have trained my own Andalusian horses. I was also a private trainer for a herd
of Peruvian horses in Denton, Texas.

Is Training and Raising Horses Your Full-Time Career? I'm asked this question alot. Although I wish I could do horses full-time, I
actually have a career in the environmental sciences field. I am a project
manager for an environmental consulting firm. I have over 15 years of work
experience including water and wastewater, toxicology, fish and wildlife
surveys, threatened and endangered species, National Environmental Policy Act
(NEPA), environmental site assessments, environmental remediation, building
inspections, hazardous waste, emergency response, natural resource assessments,
and wetlands and waters of the U.S.
That's a little bit about me. Hope you enjoy the website.
