Keberes D is a first generation import Spanish Andalusian mare. She is sired by
Granadino XI 1978 and out of the mare Botadora IV.
Keberes D was born in 1996 and
was bred by Beverly and Richard Denham. We purchased her as a weanling.
This page highlights Granadino,
Leviton, Granadina VII, Botadora IV, Aragones III, and Carinosa XIV.
Read "Adentro and Leviton
Crosses" to see photo examples and learn more about the relevance of Leviton
and Adentro in Granadino's
bloodline (Keberes D Sire Line).
I have also written several articles about the importance of
Baviero
III
(Keberes D Dam Line):

Sire Lines
Kebere's Sire Granadino

Granadino XI 1978 was imported from Spain after being bred in Spain. He is
branded by Miguel Garcia Dieguez Lopez and is a son of Leviton out of a Viuda de
Geronimo Garcia Perea mare named Granadina VII.
Granadino has 96 offspring
listed in the Spanish Studbook and 180 siblings.
Kebere's Grandsire Leviton

Leviton was known as the #1 military stallion in Spain - meaning that while he
was alive, his offspring had accumulated more points from performance and halter
classes, than had any other stallion's offspring. His powerful front end action
and striking silver coat, lean body, and noble face were distinctive
characteristics. Granadion inherited these same traits and the "Leviton" genes.
Leviton was also the sire of the 1996 Olympic dressage horse, Evento.
Kebere's Granddam Granadina VII
Granadina VII was a grey mare branded by Garcia Perea and was a daughter of the
valuable military stallion Adentro. Her lines go back to military and Bocado
horses including the Francisco Chica Navarro horse Destinado III and the Roberto
Osborne Vazques stallion Estepeno. He pedigree reads like a "who is who" of
Bocado/Cartujano horses.
Dam Lines
Kebere's Dam Botadora IV
Botadora IV was imported from Spain in-utero. She was a large grey mare with a
beautiful face, lively movements, and round body. Her dam, Carinosa XIV, was a
bay military/Escalera line mare who was branded with a "star". Her sire Aragones
III was a tall and leggy stallion. Perhaps explaining how
Keberes D inherited
height and is larger than both her parents. Botadora IV had several nice
offspring from various stallions, but I consider
Keberes D her best offspring -
and Keberes D is the only Botadora daughter with a significant show and
performance record.
Kebere's Grandsire Aragones III
Aragones III was a tall, leggy grey stallion in Spain. He was sired by the
Sierra Brava stallion Baviero III - a son of Hosco 1960 and grandson of Bilbaino
III. Aragones III carries military, Bocado, and Miura bloodlines.

Keberes D Granddam Carinosa XIV
Carinosa XIV was imported by Denham Ranch after being bred to Aragones III. She
was a daughter of Jecomias III, a Yeguada Militar stallion, and out of an
Escalera mare Carinosa VI. Carinosa was a lively bay mare with an interesting
character, was a great mother, and lived to be near 23 years of age. She was
bred to a variety of stallions and her offspring were always easily sold.
