Gitano is all "it". For a stallion, he's one of my favorites. He has beauty and power, great bloodlines and tremendous presence. Gitano is owned by Terri Meador of Herradura Andalusians. He was imported from Mexico and is the son of the supreme Mexican Champion Corsario IV. Gitano has an impressive show record himself.

Gitano has been bred to Galaxia DD for a 2010 foal and to Nobleza D for a 2009 fall foal.

He was also bred to a full sister to Nobleza D, Karina D, and produced a spectacular bay colt this year who was immediately purchased. I was able to view the colt and he was stunning, correct, and baroque with beautiful large eyes, perfecting arched neck, powerful back and rear end, and strong ground covering movement.

Gitano was also bred to a full sister to Galaxia DD, Destinada DD. Desti has had both a colt and a filly by Gitano (you can see a photo of the filly farther down on this page). The colt was sold to a dressage/breeding home. He was very large with strong legs, large bone, and a Spanish head. I saw the filly when she was a few days old and she was as near "perfect" for a Spanish filly as you could get.
