Skyhorse Ranch and Kennel is a premiere breeder of Pure Spanish Andalusian horses of Spain. We also maintain several purebred endurance Arabian horses and top class working line German Shepherds. We believe in preserving the Andalusian horse breed as it is preserved in Spain and register our horses with ANCCE-LG/Spain and with IALHA in the U.S.  Our working dogs come from imported Czech and from West German bloodlines. Our Arabian horses are Pure Polish and racing bred.

 

Our mares and riding horses spend their days grazing in open fields beside our stock pond or lounging in the shade of our big red barn. Care for each horse is provided on a twice daily basis by myself, the owner and all pastures are easily viewable from our house that is located on the property. We are lucky to be in close proximity to some of the best equine vets around and are not far from local bridle paths at the Lake Ray Roberts State Park.

bullet  Over 35 years experience riding and training horses.
bullet  Over 17 years experience breeding PRE Spanish Andalusians.
bullet  Almost half of our Andalusians have been sold to repeat buyers.
bullet  About 70% of our horses are sold sight unseen or before birth.
bullet  All our Spanish mares and stallions are approved for breeding by Spain and have their official "cartas".
bullet  Winner of multiple titles in various disciplines at Andalusian National shows including National Champion Jr Spanish Mare.
bullet  Stallion sires of our horses are National Champions multiple times.
bullet  Sold a horse to the royal family of Dubai, United Arab Emerites.
bullet  Sold two horses to the president of International Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Association (IALHA).
bullet  Completed a 100 mile ride in one day on our Arabian mare Stormy in 2012.
