Sky Marshall is the first Arabian horse I've ever owned. I went to Colorado to meet and purchase him from his previous owner and then had him delivered to Texas. I chose Sky for his calm disposition, athleticism, training, and potential to be a 100-mile endurance race horse.

In January 2009, I journeyed to Del Norte, Colorado, to purchase an 8-year old purebred Arabian gelding named Sky Marshall.  Sky's Dreamhorse advertisement was impressive: "Stunning 15.3 dapple gray purebred Arabian. Sweepstakes nominated. Exceptional disposition, under saddle, ready to be shown. Elegant, light mover, athletic. Kind and Willing attitude, wonderful ground manners. Loads and hauls easily. Safe and sane. Calm away from home and loves to please. Has done some moderate jumping and is very willing. Always had the best of health and farrier care. Priced to sell. Never had soundness issues. No vices. Clips, bathes, great for the farrier, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this gelding other than I need to reduce horses. Excellent dressage/sport horse prospect."
